Introducing Dr. Seth Schilhabel to our practice.

We are pleased to welcome Seth Schilhabel, DMD, to the Carson Dental Family.

Dr. Seth began working in our practice a few weeks ago. We are thrilled to have him on our team. He brings with him some very special skills and experience.

Since July, 2023, he has been, and still is, a Naval Officer and general dentist for the U.S. Navy (stationed nearby at Port Hueneme). He is a member of a dental team which serves over 600 military personnel.

Some of his proficiencies include … digital dentistry, crowns and bridges, operative dentistry, extractions (including surgical), endodontic treatment … and he speaks fluent Spanish as a second language.

He firmly believes in the digital technology we employ at our dentistry. He says: “Most local dentists don’t use the latest technology. I like to do dentistry the right way.”

In addition to Seth being a devoted family man … he and his wife have three children (aged 8, 2 and a newborn) … he is a youth leader at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

All-in-all, Seth is a real people person. And he is a big football fan of the Green Bay Packers (sorry, Rams and Chargers). He also loves the outdoors … mountain biking, boogie boarding, diving. He is particularly fond of visiting Kauai.

Dr. Derek says: “Dr. Mike and I like the fact that he is a very accomplished and versatile dentist, and is the complete package in his personal and professional life. ”We believe his skills, experience, personality and passion is clearly aligned with the values and goals of our practice.

We are glad to have him aboard, and believe our patients will be as well.

RICH SPRAGUE

Rich is our Marketing Services Manager. He’s responsible for our business rebrand, including the design of our new logo, the production of our marketing materials, and the development of our new website. He is extremely passionate towards the complete marketing and sales process.
